Color the Sky

The sun’s corona crosses the sky

Over a volcanic fissure

Like a carnival ride along the midway

The jet stream soars over cumulus clouds

While the doldrums sink and rise

The sky lifts the fire

Feel it beating in your heart

A low sky of clouds and thoughts

Feeling what’s to come

The lost connection comes back

The fissure closes below

Without clouds, ash, or fire above

A ship out to sea sails to the north

Skirting the coast, searching the shore

The Aurora Borealis shines above in soft pastels

Four leafed clovers, each leaf a different color

Float up inside a balloon

It bursts and colors the sky
